Job Stories From Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Fan Replacement in Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Fan replacements are a pretty common call that we get. This homeowner started hearing a loud humming noise from her system and it turned out that the fan was almost 20 years old, so definitely due for a replacement. We verified that the electrical was still working correctly, removed the old fan and the system worked good as new.

Our final step was to go in the basement, make sure that the u-tube manometer was within the correct range, which it was. The homeowner was extremely happy with the work that we did and we were very pleased with the result.

Condo In Cuyahoga Falls

Whenever we are looking to bid an install we pay very close attention to our pathways of airflow underneath the slab. This is because most of the time we have no idea if the soil is tight clay or loose gravel.

For example we can use plumbing runs or interior footer drains to help maximize our airflow which in turn can allow us to use a lower suction fan.

One of our installs in Cuyahoga Falls is a prime example of this. We could see the footer drain entering the sump pit so we knew that by going directly on top of it we would get extremely good "communication" to the rest of the foundation.

Through this process we were able to efficiently lower the customer's radon levels from around 8 pCi/L to lower than 1.5 pCi/L, well below the action level set by the EPA.
