Job Stories From Hudson, OH
Sump Pump Replacement

This customer had originally called us to do a radon test. Their neighbors had systems so it made them concerned. However the test came back low and a mitigation system wasn't necessary.

Though they still had a sump pit that they wanted sealed up and covered, as well as an old pump that needed replaced. So we went in, took out their old sump pump and put in a new unit that was much quieter and worked more efficiently. Then we put on our lid with a viewing port so that the customer could make sure everything was working properly.

This helped to improve the air quality of their basement, with a bad smell coming out of their sump pit previously and it also helped give them piece of mind that their pump would work properly when needed.

If you have a mitigation system where the sump pit needs sealed off, it's always a good idea to test your pump prior to install and even replace the unit if it is older.
