This Customer Wanted Clean Healthy Air in His Home

This customer wanted an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) installed, he worked out a lot in his basement and wanted to ensure that his air was fresh and clean. His family would also spend extended periods of time in the area.

What an ERV does, is it takes outside air and pulls it into the system as it also brings in the home's existing air, by mixing the two air streams the system is bringing in moderate, fresh, filtered air that is circulated throughout the space.

This customer had a larger basement with many angles, so in order to make sure that he was getting fresh air throughout the space, we put in two separate exhaust registers on opposite sides of the basement, this way the system can work as efficiently as possible. We working extensively with this customer to ensure that the system would be positioned in an area that wasn't in use, and the ductwork was up and out of the way of any future storage or shelving.

Now he and his family can spend time in their basement, knowing that they aren't breathing in stale, old air. ERV's are proven to reduce radon, allergen, and chemicals by up to 75%!
