Can Homes On A Slab Have Radon?

Many of our customers are under the impression that a home built on a concrete slab cannot have radon. Though the radon levels might be lower than a home with the basement, elevated levels are definitely still possible.

This is because the slab still has direct access to the soil, which is where radon comes from. Though it may not have as much surface area touching the soil as a full basement, radon still comes into the home.

The only way to know your radon levels is to get a test.
