Slab-On Grade Mitigation Systems

Many customers have a misconception that if your home is built on a slab with no basement that there's no radon. Though, the levels do tend to be lower in a slab home, we have worked on many of them!

They can sometimes be more difficult to mitigate because in a basement we have easy access to an unfinished area of the home as well as electrical. Though in a slab home, mostly everything is finished and makes it harder to find hidden areas to put our system.

What we often times do is find a closet where the system will be tucked away and then tie into an outlet inside the home that is along the exterior wall. This is exactly what we did on a home in Elyria, OH!

So even though a slab home can be a little more difficult to mitigate, there are ways to still make the systems hidden and effective!
